(3) Most eReaders will take PDF and ePub formats (except for Kindle, which needs mobi or prc format). Free applications are available to read PDF, Kindle and ePub formats on your smart phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.

(4) If you download a sampler for your eReader from our site, Goodreads, Lulu or Smashwords, you'll have to copy it manually to your device. If you download with your Kindle, Nook, Android or Kobo eReader from the Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Google Play or Kobobooks store respectively, the sampler should copy directly into your Kindle, Nook, Android or Kobo device.

(5) If you download an ePub with your computer from the Kobo site, you'll get a zip file. Simply change the "zip" file extension to "epub" and you'll be able to read it on other devices besides the Kobo eReader.
